We also offer training in the Summer months from our HQ at Springfield Park, our changing rooms are next to the Golf Shop.
The club offers a range of training for Adults, Juniors and Disabled Athletes.
Sessions for adults (seniors) take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm, 6.30pm for track sessions.
Tuesday sessions, both road and track based, are typically structured interval based speed sessions; Thursday sessions, are typically group runs, with groups at different paces and distances. In the Summer, there is the opportunity to run from Springfield Park on Thursdays, often off-road through the local countryside.
The club aims to be as inclusive as possible and facilitate training sessions for a wide range of abilities. If you are an adult who is new to running and either cannot run a 5k or do so in more than 30 minutes, you may wish to join the Rochdale Harriers Beginners Group which meet on Monday evenings.
Please note that for child protection reasons, any non-members attending training sessions
at Springhill (e.g. parents, guardians, carers, potential new Senior members etc.)
will need to bring satisfactory identification.
Weekly subs: £1 per session or £1.50 if using track or indoor Sports Hall.
Annual membership fees also apply.
